Yellowstone National Park is colorful in all seasons. Last September I photographed the fabulous colors within the pools of hot springs. At dusk I set out to photograph the bison. This February I spent time in the snowy elements of Yellowstone National Park, with far fewer people around than I had seen in the summer. The park “belonged” to more of the photographer and wolf watching crowds. As I have mentioned in my earlier blogs I was one of the fortunate few to see a bobcat at close watch … here are some more of those images. More of my winter images from Yellowstone’s amazing scenic extravaganza and bison in the snow to come!
