What if there were a way to wade through all of the bells and whistles on your camera to find out what is really relevant to making good pictures. What if you found out that most of the “extras” on your camera are really there just to sell the product but they don’t do much to help you to make the pictures that you want. What if there was a tutorial e-book for photographers that could help you find out what it is you need to know to get down to making better pictures right now with the camera that you have? There is. Get the low down, what you need to know, basic guide to photography here.
Why did I create this ebook? … Because of the sad truth that most people blame their cameras for their not so good pictures and praise themselves for the “accidental” good shot. …
I’ve heard more than just a handful of times from beginning to advanced shutter bugs, “If I only had a better camera I’d be able to take better pictures.” It’s not that that statement is completely untrue. Certainly, a D3X with a 600 mm lens is going to give a person the tools to create magnificent flight photos of birds. Really? Yes, but only if the person using this equipment knows how to use the camera and the lens…. Um, and a tripod and the wimberly head that most of us mount our lenses to.
With that said, here’s the real truth about the first statement. Ready? With a better camera most people wouldn’t take better pictures. The real reason that most pictures do not measure up to what we hoped for is not because the camera failed but because of the user’s lack of knowledge about their camera.
With that said, most users just need a little education and a push in the right direction.
The user manuals that come with cameras are often as overwhelming as college text books. And the bells and whistles on consumer cameras overwhelm even us pro photographers! The old SLRs were simple. You just had to know how to use them.
I’ve taken the most important technical camera nuts and bolts information and put it into a simple to follow ebook. The ebook contains six video tutorials that will help you to grasp the components of exposure.
Once you understand exposure ( aperture, shutter speed, ISO) you will be able to manually use it to make the pictures you desire. You’ll stop relying on the camera’s auto setting and start to master your camera.
Who is this ebook for? Newbie’s to seasoned photographers who want a better understanding (and a quick one) of the basics of photography. Everyone must understand exposure to make consistently good images. Digital cameras are equipped with histograms and I show you how to become best friends with this amazing gem. … if you don’t know what a histogram is and you own a camera, you need this ebook! If you don’t understand exposure or how to use your manual settings, you need this ebook!
This ebook will not show you overviews on the less relevant bells and whistles that your camera is loaded with. This tutorial takes the fluff out of the overwhelm and hands you the information that will get you to know how to make better pictures.
This tutorial will not tell you what camera is better than another or which camera or brand to buy. I’m not a camera junkie and I don’t keep track of all the new models that come out on a daily basis. I’m a professional nature photographer who knows my camera, lenses, filters, tripods, etc like a second skin.
My guide will do this: it will teach you to love your camera because you will understand it and know it.
Enjoy!

Do you have any opinion on Pefect Layers plugin for Aperture? Wondering if it’s worth buying or I’m better off with Photoshop Elements.
I wouldn’t expect you should be carrying loincloths made of dingo skin, considerably better than we’ve been capable exercise routine. Any time we understand they have truly doing exercise, with regards to incredibly good.
