JOURNAL: Badlands morning and drive to Gardiner MT

There was a beautiful frost and a chill in the morning air… crisp and beautiful! I enjoyed the magic and the solitude of the morning here alone except for one ranger that drove by.

I’d park my car and get out thinking I’d just be a minute and an hour later I’d find myself a little further off and out… To cone back and see that I parked in the middle of the snow covered road… Ahh, what te scenery does to me!

I photographed longer, much longer than I anticipated and with another long drive got to Gardiner very late that night.
My friend Mary was involved in a workshop at Yellowstone so I stayed with her this night and the next 3.
Thankyou Mary!
