Carvers Rock State Park

Below is a link with two images from Carvers Rock Park – one in the fall and one in the winter.
Landscape photography from Carvers Rock Park.

This is a hidden gem of a photographer’s paradise. I “happened” upon this park one day when I was cycling. I got off my bike and knew I’d come back to photograph. I’ve been back a handful of times. Each time I go I am gifted with a new scene. A creek runs alongside mossy cliffs. Even in the winter the leaves which have fallen earlier in the year present wonderful landscape opportunities. Macro opportunities and landscape photo opps are ever present at this location.

The plan is to meet in Lake Geneva at the designated location (listed) and then caravan and/or carpool to Carvers Rock. The total time at Carvers Rock is set to be one hour but you are welcome and encouraged to stay, explore and photograph as long as you like beyond the designated group time.
If you like to hike, this is a great place to hike along and photograph. Or stay put right from the road and photograph the mossy cliffs right near the roadside! .. This workshop/tour has something for everyone!

Be sure to take advantage of my professional skills and the networking skills of your peers within the group. I teach by doing, so there will be plenty of opportunity to pick my brain and to venture off to create your own vision ( I always encourage this!). I also teach by asking you questions as I observe you in the field. Often they are questions you may not have thought to ask. I encourage questions, experimentation and finding your own unique style. ..
Whether you are new to a point and shoot camera or you are a serious amateur, this outing will be a fun and rewarding experience for all !

I have a problem with the overall premise of your article but I still think its really informative. I really like your other posts. Keep up the great work. If you can add more video and pictures can be much better. Because they help much clear understanding. :) thanks Lorifini.
