The NANPA conference in Reno has ended and once again I am on the road to plant myself back into Nature. The conference was wonderful but seeing the mountains in the distance from the 11th floor of my hotel room made me hungry to be back IN nature. It was an odd place to hold a nature photography conference. In two hours I had gone from a great hike in the mountains to casino lights and cigarette smoke of the hotel on Feb 16. It was such a conflict of terms! … However, lots of great people, good presentations, photography and stories. But I must say I am happy to be out to explore again. The images below are scenes from my drive yesterday. The clouds were amazing on the mountains! Today I head to Crater Lake.
