Overlooking and photographing at the Grand Canyon
I just finished a solo photography trip through areas of the South West. 2300 miles took me from LA to Sedona, to the Grand Canyon, to Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend (Page, AZ), to California Condors on Navajo Bridge on the way to Zion National Park, to Death Valley, back to LA to complete the circular journey. Day 8 took me out one more day to Salton Sea where I photographed Cattle Egrets, black necked stilts and avocets, and then to Joshua Tree where I caught the sunset and full moon between branches of Joshua Trees.
I hiked, climbed, photographed, and challenged myself on this 8 day adventure. One learns much about herself when she explores the world in a vision quest as I did.
I am compiling my materials to put together two books as well as my fine art canvas images. All will take awhile to complete. .. The books will be in pdf format though the picture book will be available in print also.. the adventure book as a pdf will include video files and voice files, capturing what it was I was experiencing in the moments that I was experiencing them..
